TimberHP is proud to partner with the University of Maine’s Building Science Program, connecting Maine engineering students with hands-on experience in wood fiber insulation and building materials manufacturing at our Madison, Maine facility.

This summer, UMaine chemical engineering student Brian Waterbury joined our team in Madison, working alongside TimberHP’s quality and process teams on research, testing and product development. His fellowship is part of a growing collaboration between Maine’s universities and manufacturers—giving students hands-on experience while bringing fresh thinking and research capacity to the work happening on the factory floor.

For TimberHP, partnerships like this are about more than workforce development. They’re part of building a stronger innovation ecosystem here in Maine—connecting our forest resources, manufacturing infrastructure, research institutions and emerging talent to develop better building materials right here at home.
