Jon Riley, owner of Casco Bay Insulation, has over two decades of weatherization experience in Northern New England. ​Prior to 2008, Jon performed home energy evaluations to advise builders and homeowners on how best to solve their home performance issues.  As he worked with contractors, Jon learned that few insulation installers could provide services to meet the building envelope goals he had set for his clients’ projects.  So, he bought a truck, a cellulose blower and the tools he needed, and began to provide the service himself. Over 10 years later, Casco Bay Insulation provides full insulation services for new construction and retrofits of old homes. Using modern techniques, Jon and his team pride themselves on being able to unlock and improve the energy puzzles that high performance homes present. They use sustainable dense pack cellulose insulation and vapor variable interior air barriers to create tight, moisture safe building envelopes.
